We are planning a sea ice field course in Barrow, Alaska, from May 8-18.
All the relevant information for the course can be found in the syllabus, including costs and prerequisites.
To sign up for the class, please send a CV and a 1-page summary (as outlined in the syllabus) for review by the instructors.
Note that in addition to the UAF instructors of record, the course will include instruction by other leading experts in the field, including Don Perovich (CRREL, USA), Malcolm Ingham (Victoria University Wellington, NZ), Ken Golden (University of Utah, USA), Marcel Nicolaus (Alfred Wegener Institute, Germany) and others.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of us affiliated with the course. Also, feel free to circulate the document among others who may be interested in the course.
With best regards,
Eric Collins, Hajo Eicken, Rolf Gradinger
